GeneSight® Testing Services

The GeneSight ® Psychotropic test helps providers "read" your genes to better predict
treatment outcomes, allowing them to prescribe safer and more effective medications.

The best course of action for treating psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, or ADHD may be written in our genes.

The GeneSight® pharmacogenomic test analyzes critical variations in your DNA, giving healthcare providers insight into how you might process or respond to psychotropic drugs (i.e. those affecting the mental state).

To collect the DNA sample, your doctor or nurse practitioner swabs the inside of your cheek, whereafter it is sent to a lab for analysis. Turnaround time for results is typically two days. From there, your provider will connect with the GeneSight® Medical Affairs Team to review the results and their implications. This information is then shared with you upon your next visit.

GeneSight® Testing Benefits

  • Less probability of side effects and adverse reactions from prescriptions
  • More effective treatment plans and results based on your genetic profile
  • Available at a cost of $330 or less to the overwhelming majority of patients (over 95%)
